Grux
A native Mac assistant that reads the window you are actually in, reaches the mail, calendar, notes and files already on the machine, and runs against your own key or a local model with no key at all. Five months of work, open sourced under MIT on the day it shipped.
Roughly $322,000 of Claude at API rates went into it, across 733,954 logged calls. It is free, there is no account, and there is nothing to buy.
New in 3.0: Grux opens on one Command Panel: one input, a list of what needs you, and anything you open slides in beside it. Underneath, every small judgment it makes for you now goes through one decision engine you can see and tune. Download it, drag it into Applications, and it opens with no warning: signed and notarized by Apple.
